Hide’n Seek

This scene is from a story Called “Domino’s”: It’s about 5 best friends who did everything together. One got a girl pregnant and kept the kid, so they all did. One named their kid with a name starting with a D, So they all did. They bought a mansion for everyone to live but unfortunately died before that happened. Now the estate goes to the 6 kids they leave behind. David (28), Daphne (25), Twins Dane and Danna (21), Danielle (19), Dillon (18)

David: Landscaper, handyman, caretaker

Daphne: Comic book artist, Author, Homebody

Dane and Danna: Military brats, Pranksters, Twins

Danielle: Cheerleader, Student, Airhead

Dillon: Gamer, Streamer, Amateur photographer 

These 6 characters get into all sorts of shenanigans, crisscrossing plots and tomfoolery. Moving in to a new place, they try to get their lives in order but inevitably bump and bumble into eachother like a bunch of Dominos.

The game had started and Danielle has only just finished throwing together a last minute costume: A mummy made from toilet paper and hair pins to keep it in place. She was competitive and she wasn’t about to be last last one to find the groups hiding place. People had already gone missing so it was obvious they’d found Dane already and joined him.

Danielle checked everywhere in a blitz to find him but neglected to notice her costume was starting to come apart, but she noticed too late. Under the tarp in the boat in the garage she found Dane sitting snuggly against his sister and David. She wasn’t the last one.

”Found you! Make some room for me!” She said excitedly. And started climbing in. Dane couldn‘t help but notice her costume was coming apart as she climbed in and snuggle against him.

”Are you supposed to be a mummy?” He asked, trying to distract her from the inevitable tent being pitched in his trousers. She shushed him and squeezed in closer so that they spooned. Dane couldn’t have been happier.

[this game is based on the game of of hide and seek but with one addition; Multiple people set out to find the one hiding, but when they find them they must join them. The game gets  easier the more people join the hiding place. You lose when you are the last person to find the groups hiding spot]
