Monster: Zimwilag
Added 2024-08-26 18:15:07 +0000 UTCInspired by the slayer of many online adventurers, this lag monster distorts the flow of time around itself, draining speed from other creatures while speeding itself up.
Update: An explanation of the slowed condtion (used by the zimwilag's Aura of Theft feature) is now included in the PDF.
I'd forgotten it was part of my book and not available on Patreon.

Welcome, and good catch! I totally forgot that the slowed condition isn't here on Patreon (it's in my book). I turned the effects of the Slow spell into a condition, so it could easily be referenced by other things, like being engulfed in thick slime or, in this case, being affected by a magical effect that isn't actually the Slow spell. I'll add this note to the PDFs so those that aren't getting the book will still be able to use this monster.

2024-08-27 04:01:13 +0000 UTCHi, new patron here, apologies if this isn't the right space for this, but I noticed a bit of unclear language. Under the Aura of Theft ability, it mentions creatures that start their turn within the aura are slowed, but it doesn't mention how much a creature is slowed by. Should I be assuming it halves the speed of a creature, or is there a specific value that should be attached?
