Patron Appreciation Post (and update) - May 2023
Added 2023-05-24 17:03:50 +0000 UTCGreetings.
I just wanted to take a moment to say that, as a D&D content creator that does more creative writing than making of pretty pictures, I really appreciate your patronage. The funds help pay for web hosting and other expenses.
I know there are countless creators out there making all sorts of content, and you chose to support me. Thank you.
As always, I look forward to making and sharing more D&D homebrews that you might enjoy. If there is a type (or types) of homebrew you're interested it or could use for a particular spot in your games, let me know (in a comment, Discord message, Patreon message, Twitter, Reddit, email, or whereever) and I'm sure I can brainstorm a half dozen of so of whatever it is to add to my ideas/to-do list. :)
For those wondering what I've been creating recently:
- Work continues on my D&D 5e soucebook. I've been making additions for optional rules and mechanics beyond just magic items, subclasses, and so on, and have been including tidbits on the inspiration and/or thoughts behind certain creations. Layout tweaks are still happening as well.
- I've altered some of the mechanics for werecreatures and am now making new were-monsters for added variety. Tomorrow I'll be posting the wereshark.
- I've been posting some battle maps I've made for Curse of Strahd. I haven't done the whole book, just ones I've been asked for by one of my kids as she DMs it for others. Handy to have for Roll20 and other virtual tabletops (VTTs).
I also wanted to remind folks that if you are interested and you haven't joined already, I have a Discord server you can use to connect (with myself and others that might be up for it) about D&D stuff or anything in particular. I hang out in voice channels every once in a while, sometimes streaming my screen as I work, so if you see me there feel free to say hi. You can get a patron-only role if you add your Discord info to your Patreon account.
That's all for now. The cats are reminding me it's lunch time and there's yard work to be done, so it's time to leave the computer screen for a bit.
Take care, and have a great day.
