Monster: Feathered Dragon (a Febru-aviary creation)
Added 2023-02-11 07:27:32 +0000 UTCThis one took longer than I anticipated, likely due to the fact that I got sucked into working on a puzzle for three hours or so this afternoon. Plus, this is a set of dragon stat blocks, and those just take longer.
What we have here are four stat blocks for different ages (ancient, adult, young, wyrmling) of a feathered dragon. I wanted something that was both similar and different from your typical dragons, and I'm pleased with how these turned out.
The breath weapon of these dragons causes a condition called delusional. The condition linked here and in the PDFs is in early access for two weeks (limited to patrons of certain tiers), but it's the same effects as the confusion spell. I made it into a condition so it can be referenced for this dragon and by other causes like poisons or diseases.
This was made for day 10 of Febru-aviary, and entire month of daily, bird-related homebrews.
