A book layout question (quick 1-day poll)

I continue to make progress on writing and laying out The Book. At the moment, I'm adding monster descriptions and stat blocks.
As a potential future reader and/or DM using such a D&D sourcebook, how would you prefer the monster section be organized?

I have settled on all of the monter descriptions and stat blocks appearing in alphabetical order, and then adding a list at the end of the monster chapter listing all of the monsters grouped by creature type.
