Holiday Announcements! 🎅🎄❄

Hey friends! First off, hope you enjoy the holiday themed piece by Tonchii. I posted this last year but took it down since I was nervous about Patreon's new policies at the beginning of 2024. That said, after seeing what other furry artists get away with, I think we're safe :3.

For the rest of this post, I'm gonna ramble a bit about my thoughts and plans for 2025.

So first off, before the year ends, I'll be posting the public version of Build 6. This version will have some rewrites for days 1-6. A detailed list of errata will be published on itch. I'm not changing any major story beats, but I'm restructuring and redacting a lot of info to improve the pacing and flow of the story.

The whole team is going to be taking a good break. Projects won't start back up until mid-January. I'll be honest, I need a little break, too. It's been one helluva year.

My goal is to get out 4 builds of ChoPro in 2025! I launched 2 builds in 2023, and 3 builds in 2024. I think it's time to strive for more! So, this will include Build 7 (Darrell), Build 8 (Chester), and Build 9 (Darrell), and Build 10 (Chester).

In my little French vanilla fantasy, I'm hoping that Chester's route will be complete by Build 10 and Darrell's route will be complete by Build 11. I don't want to drag these stories out for too long. I have other boyfriends to write!

In between each new build, there will be a Staccato short story as well! I have big plans for Staccato 6. I'm planning on having an exclusive CG. Hope you're all ready 👀.

One thing I want to try to do is find ways I can improve my workflow so I can get builds out to you guys faster! It's going to require some lifestyle changes and some creativity on my part.

On that note, I think I have to completely put a stop to the merch drops. Giving you guys merch has been really fun this year! But, good God, it took up so much of my time and energy. Working with a finicky printer, having to travel to the post office, develop new graphics every month… it was too much. That time would have been SO MUCH better spent writing, coding, creating prompts, etc. That said, I'm so happy a lot of the fans got some nice prints and stickers. I still want to do merch! I just need to figure out who can do this stuff for me.

I do have some conversations going on with some furry merchandisers. Right now, we're just in the conversation phase. I'm not sure what's going to develop. Once I'm allowed to talk about stuff, I'll loop you all in :3.

Another goal of mine is to figure out how to integrate the Content Creator Edition and the main line game all together into one game file. I think it'll just make things easier for everyone. I've noticed that folks tend to prefer the Android version of the CCE. This signals to me that readers are interested in reading ChoPro in public/semi-public settings without having actual porn on the screen. I think the best solution will be to integrate the two versions into one game file. I'll need some tech support for this endeavor, which is the main reason why this hasn't been done yet.

One last thing I'd like to discuss is my plan on increasing Patreon pledge prices. I set up the $3-$6-$9 model back in 2022. Since then, me and my team have been able to deliver new benefits and grow as legitimate players in the FVN space. I think what ChoPro delivers has gone up in value, and as such, I believe it's time for a price increase.

Going forward into 2025, Patreon pledges will be bumped up to $4 for Chromatic, $8 for Dorian, and $12 for Lydian.

Important note, I will be enabling "legacy" pledges. For you wonderful Chordies who enjoy your benefits at the price you currently pay, you can keep it for as long as you stay subscribed! Just remember that if you unsubscribe and resubscribe, you'll have to pay the new rate.

As I'm sure you're all aware, I don't promise monthly builds. They come out when they're ready and no sooner. I know for a lot of you, this Patreon page is a revolving door. You come and go as you please, and I 1,000% support that choice. Any and all support is beyond appreciated.

That said, I know a price increase may have some of you reconsider your patronage, and I completely understand. Truth be told, I'm not 100% sure if this is the best move.

That said, I want to take a shot at getting more funding. More funding means I can dedicate more time to the project and provide my team with a bigger budget for art. If things don't go well, I'll return to the tried-and-true 3-6-9 model.

Thank you all for making my dreams come true this year. ChoPro is firing on all cylinders, I hosted an FVN creation panel, I hosted several FVN meetups at cons, and I got to perform FAFO on stage!

This year cemented the fact that Chord Progressions and the FVN community are my life's callings. You guys make it possible for me to heed that call.
