86Box - An Introduction to PC Emulation

Hello!

This was supposed to be a quick and simple video I recorded at home over a couple of days after some delays on my other projects but it completely spiraled out of control with many small issues and took up the entirety of the time from the last video until now.

This video is an attempt to be a comprehensive introduction to using 86Box along with some of my own personal experiences with it as I've been using it and PCem for the last two years for different projects. In shot, it's awesome and is one of the most impressive software projects I think is being worked on right now.

86Box - An Introduction to PC Emulation

Very interesting video. I had a real nostalgic moment when you showed changing the boot order to get things up and running. I am so tempted to see if I can find my old CDs (purchased from the Linux Buyers Consortium) and finally figure out how to get a sound card working on early Linux distros.

This codebase could be a great reference for people trying to make software defined cards for PCs.
