Hello!!! its here!!! hope you like it!!!
Theres more info in the included documentation, but here is a list of the major changes from the phonodroid base:
- The Laserdroid uses a state-of-the-art analog optical disc format and has a redesigned tray and door section to match it. It also spins much, much faster.
- The cassette deck on the chest has been replaced with a built in 8.8-inch CRT screen that can display 4 frames of animation sequentially (and can be turned off in the radial menu).
- The hands have been nearly completely remodeled with more detail and better joints to the hands.
- The tail has also seen a major update both on the base and the plug.
- Speakers on the sides of the legs have been moved inside and are now covered with a transparent mesh.
- The shoulders have been split and slightly adjusted in design, so they make more physical sense with how the Laserdroid moves.
- The rear of the Laserdroid now features composite video jacks and a PhonoLink port.
- Laserdroid can change color on the fly with the addition of a “Color” option in the radial menu.
I have elected not to change the head design to keep the Laserdroid avatar compatible with the alternate heads already release for the Phonodroid avatar. Any Adjustments to the head will remain compatible with both. (The only exception to this is the multi-color eyes on the Laserdroid, which will require changes to the UVs or the Texture made when swapping out the head model.)
If you make a cool (and sfw) customized version please show me on twitter!!! i wanna see it.
