Phonodroid 1.2 Avatar Release!! Get them here!!
Added 2021-10-09 19:34:16 +0000 UTCIts here!! What is (Hopefully) the final update before releasing them publicly on the avatar world, this update brings a few new features, some much needed polish, and proper full body tracking support!
Patch notes for Version 1.2:
Changes/Fixes
- Massive update to the skeleton to make it compatible with full body tracking.
- Eyes now turn off when doing the “Die” emote with a neutral gesture emotion, finally putting an
unused eye animation to use (Its okay they are just pretending.)
- Fixed some vertices on the body doing things they shouldn’t in some shape keys.
- “Tray” section of the radial menu has been changed to “Actions” as there are multiple
animations that do not involve the record tray in it.
New additions
- Added Watchdroid gesture helper, with a new shape key and vertex group related to such.
- Added watermark to radial menu (See “About making your avatars public” below for more
information.
- New icons for Phonodroid actions in the radial menu.
- New action in radial menu for toggling the Watchdroid on and off. (Off by default)
About making your avatars public
With Phonodroid 1.2 I am allowing patrons to release their customized avatars to the
public under the following conditions:
- The watermark in the radial menu must remain unchanged from how it is.
- The avatar must be completely Safe For Work. This means no fetish material even if it’s not
technically explicit.
- The avatar may not be used commercially or for any kind of monetary gain.
Public release exclusively means uploading the avatar publicly on VRChat. The source files are not to be distributed in any form. If you want to release the avatar on a different service (Neos VR, etc., please consult with me first!)
Also included in the documentation is a section on easily updating your old customized avatar models to the new skeleton!
