Manual Floppy Drive Switching Made Easy
Added 2022-09-09 13:49:47 +0000 UTCHello! Sorry this one is a little bit late, my original video plans for this week changed for the better derailing my objective. So I decided instead to finally go ahead and make an announcement video about this, The Floppy Switch Board.
This is just about the most basic thing I'll ever design but is also incredibly useful. All it does is redirect the Motor and Drive Select signals for a floppy drive connection to one of two connectors. But what you can do with that is what makes it so awesome and useful. In this video I go over some of the best use cases for this device and a lesser known feature built in to DOS that may has well been custom made for this!
