Hello! I have two options for you on this video today. I did an extended cut again this time but I also just turned around and started editing the short one right after beginning the long versions render so both are ready at once. I don't think I've asked yet if the longer ramblier versions are something people enjoy but it seems like not the worst thing to throw up since it's usually part of my process already.
This video was kind of a stop gap to give me more time on the long project I've been working on to get a new ISA card designed so I can get my Philips CM-100 drive working. It's almost done at this point, but I still need to spend some focused time on it before I get some final confirmations on it and then send it off to get made. It just so happen though that I, for some reason, decided it was time to upgrade my keyboard I take to and from the office and use every day with my laptop. My inspirations behind the parts I chose are vintage things from my collection so I thought it might be interesting to take a look at it all in next to eachother. My main goal was a 60s or 70s style key set and there was a pretty compelling set based on the IBM beamspring keyboards which just happened to be the same as the Selectric typewriters I've used. So I went with that and this is the result.
