20 dollars!! (plus long term goals and stuff)

20 dollars!!!! woah!!! I never would have thought I would have reached that so quickly after starting the Patreon!

Thank you all so so so much for the support, it really has meant so much for me.. For the longest time I was so afraid to actually start a Patreon because I've always had a really bad fear of letting people down or making mistakes. And yet, since starting it I have had such a huge boost to my motivation and general confidence. I do not regret finally pushing myself to do it at all, despite what my past self worried about so much.

So what is the future going to look like for all this? Well, it's obviously hard to say, but I certainly plan to do this, well, forever really. I enjoy drawing so much and knowing my art makes so many people happy is honestly the best thing that has ever happened to me. I also cannot properly express how grateful I am for those of you that have been willing to donate to my Patreon,,, It may not seem like much now, but every little bit of support brings the possibility of doing this full-time a step closer to being a reality. But that is a long long ways off, so whats happening now?

Goals!

For sure I am going to keep doing original artwork! I have so much fun drawing it and coming up with new ideas. I don't really have a set schedule for when I post pieces and I certainly don't plan one making one, but I've had a thing going with a new piece every 2-3 days with some breaks here and there and I think I am happy with continuing to push for that. I don't want to force myself to make the drawings because then I stop enjoying it and I just don't see the point in trying to make art if I'm not having fun doing it!

I have gotten quite a few questions now regarding the possibility of commissions, and for those of you that are interested in that I am looking into it very seriously now! I've always been nervous about that stuff, especially after hearing many horror stories about some people's experiences with it, but I think I am as ready as I will ever be to try it myself. My biggest hurdle right now is how I will handle payment, so any suggestions for the best way to go about that would be very much appreciated!!

For the long term, I am saving up to eventually get a capture card! I have wanted to do animated works for a long time and being able to have them in authentic VHS style would be awesome! I have everything else I need to be able to do that, a capture card is just the last step!

For the long long term, I honestly don't know for sure what will happen! I am always coming up with new ideas for projects both related to drawing and exploring some other forms of media. (for example, I am currently working on Quake map bbbbb) I do have an idea for some kind of long term big animated project once I have the funds to be able to do something like that properly! Until then, I hope I can keep producing content that you all enjoy!
