IBM Wheelwriter Printer - An Awesome Disappointment
Added 2021-08-04 19:03:44 +0000 UTCI previously did a video on a typewriter working as a printer and in researching that I found that there were IBM Wheelwriters with a printer option. I managed to get my hands on one despite them being extremely rare!
It's actually a bit of a mixed bag though because at it's absolute best, the fastest it can print is only 16 characters per second. Way too slow to have been reasonable.
