DIY'ing my Dream Vintage Test Bench
Added 2021-03-18 04:42:32 +0000 UTCI finished up the video about my test bench! It started out with 4hrs of footage and I tried to cut it down to only what was really needed because there was a lot of experimentation in the build process for this.
It came out way better than I thought it would, it was just a lot of work to get it together. I started on it in February...but it was worth it. This is going to be such a huge help going forward.
I'm posting this right after I get it done so I need to finish up a few things but I'm going to put together a BOM of all the parts I used because this is mostly repeatable for anyone with all new parts.

That switch may have been the single best choice I made in this whole build. I'm extremely happy with how that part turned out!

2021-03-18 21:59:44 +0000 UTCThanks! It was a long process, but I wanted to make this as solid as possible and put a lot of thought into it. Keeping it possible to recreate became a goal as I started looking for parts and found it difficult to find something like I wanted and figured there must be others in my position as well. The BOM is finished now and added to the description of the video with ordering options for both ebay and amazon for all the parts available from them.
