I really appreciate all the feedback and suggestions I got on the poll. It helped me decide how to finish this one. I know most of the votes were for one long video, but I remembered I have a second channel so I decided to do something between that and the second most popular option. So I split the video into two halves, the first part is all about building the drive enclosure. The second part (called part 1.5) is my raw testing and next I'll do a proper part 2 on using and demonstrating it.

Part 1.5: https://youtu.be/GOaV9hXF9OE

I actually really like this solution, I feel like I've had a number of videos I could have done this with in the past that would have been better off like this. So I may do this more in the future.

The follow up for this is going to be a little bit more work because I'm going to work on it in tandem with a new video on building an old computer test bench system at the same time so I can demo using it for installing an operating system and other things.

Here's hoping you're feeling better now, you seemed just a little bit upset about the floppy power connector thing

That is a really weird issue, it was a stereo track but a mono mic. I have no idea why it did that. I've been having a lot of issues with my editing software, it may have had a hiccup in encoding or something. I don't really want to re-render it because it took me all day to get those two videos done and that one isn't the main focus for me. It may have also been an issue when recording it with OBS also. I'm going to be reverting my editing software to an older version which was more stable so hopefully that should cut down on the issues in the future.

In Part 1.5 @ 9:49 the screencap segment has your voice randomly bouncing between audio channels, which was a little disorienting. Did you happen to record your voice-over with a stereo mic? If so it may be good to downmix it to mono in post. Keep up the awesome work regardless! I lusted after these kinds of keyboards as a kid. <3
