I had three projects fail on me in a row I tried to make videos out of:
- The TRS-80 Model 4 definitely needs work on the floppy controller
- The Tecmar jrCaptain I was given doesn't work and may have a bad PAL
- I got a TI Silent 700 thermal paper terminal has unusual bad caps ruining the pulsing timing for the stepper motor to advance the paper.
I can still go back and try to finish these projects(maybe not the jrCaptain though) I just need to get parts now and plan for them ahead. This was on top of being busy with some other life stuff all last week as well.
Also this video has been done since Thursday, but it is the video with the NordVPN sponsor and I had to wait for approval which I didn't get until the weekend was over.
On the note of the sponsorship, I don't think I'll be doing another NordVPN segment. In addition to the feedback I received here I found some other info while working on the segment and I don't think they are a good fit for the channel. I signed a contract for this one so I'm finishing that. But this will be it.
