My Trip to VCF West 2019
Added 2019-09-03 05:30:10 +0000 UTCI've finally gone back and edited my footage from VCF West 2019!
This was a very different kind of video for me to make. The LTX video was comprised of many small segments but I had a flowing native for that so I didn't have to figure out how to put it together. This though, was starting from nothing. So there may be some growing pains in this as I gave it my best shot. I'm pretty sure that I probably put 1hr of work into every minute of footage for this. Most videos I can nearly edit the video in less time than it takes me to shoot them, so this one was a lot more work.
Also, I graded the footage very differently. I usually don't push everything that hard but this time I decided to try making it all "pop" a bit more. There were a few shots that gave me trouble (my camera setup really doesn't travel well and it was difficult to shoot) but I think that went well overall. VCF was actually really challenging to shoot because the light color was difference at every booth because they had very yellow lights and lots of windows.
