I always think I don’t remember these episodes but then some random line will Ratatouille me back fifteen years.
Particularly the Wind Waker video. I remember replaying Austin’s panicked “no no don’t Go Off THE EDGE” when the pig almost fell several times, and I thought “wind headshot” was the funniest thing

So for a modern iteration of this -
What if instead of taking forum glitches we aren’t sure about (since that’s basically nonexistent now), and instead taking popular or fun speedruns voted on by the community and doing a test of how easy or viable the glitches would be for a normal person.
It would give a chance for the music and title cards to have that 2011 vibe and would be fun to have folks go back and watch Egg Busters OG which is still worth a watch.
Or even doing like EggBusters Redux where you go back through games from prior episodes and see what wild or wacky glitches folks have found in the ten years plus since the original videos and test them out.

Hey Austin. In regards to your energy levels, they are very different and that's what I loved about watching your older content when I discovered it a few years ago now. We are very similar in age and grew up during that early era of YouTube. The way you are now is very much how I feel I am now, more considered and hopefully less scatterbrained. It's less that we don't care about the small things and being weird and more that we are able to channel it into a neat and more accessible thing.
As someone who really struggled with ADHD as a kid, binge watching your older episodes was such a beautiful month. It was both nostalgic to a time in YouTube that can't be recaptured (at least not without a tinge of irony or self awareness) and seeing you act with a brain like a pinball (like I did) and seeing you now, much calmer (like myself). It was nice to know someone else experienced a similar trajectory to me. I will say the difference is that you followed your dream of getting on camera and letting your brain spill everywhere. I'm jealous haha
Edit: I do not envy you having to watch yourself back then though. For me when I see photos of myself from that halcyon period I feel a strange dissonance and melancholy.
