Let's check in about your goals for 2023, and let's read and answer some of your listener mail. We'll also touch on reaching 100k, where we're at with the channel, and try to find some unremarkable and odd places in Breath of the Wild.
Long time no see, as usual. We reached 100k since last time, and I'd really like to make a video to celebrate that on the main channel. I'm going to try to get that done, but priority #1 is getting another fun regular video up shortly. Thanks for your patience!

Relatedly, do you listen to your own music, outside of the sort of self-critiquing you talk about in this video? I'm glad you mentioned the impact of koroks in BotW. Devs obviously want to reward players who explore beyond paths of necessity, but for me (and you, by the sounds), the intrinsic reward in older games was feeling like I found something I wasn't supposed to, something overlooked or forgotten by the world's creators, and the vibes/atmosphere that always come with that. Extrinsic rewards have their place, but in a map this big, it's a bummer that it's so saturated with them.
