Don't know if this glitch has been documented anywhere but there's a "slow run" I used to do all the time in Battlefront 2. Basically sprint forward and press B like you're doing a roll, but instantly press backward on the left stick. The result will be a slow sprint. Fun to do with Jedi because their lightsaber turns off.
