Jinbe's voice actor (Daisuke Gōri, also voice of Dorry the giant, and Mr. Satan from DBZ) tragically passed away in 2010, three weeks short of 58, after only voicing Jinbe for the 3 episodes you just watched. [His diabetes caused his retinas to detach, not being able to read scripts, and he committed suicide.] He was replaced with Katsuhisa Hōki (also voice of Gecko Moria), so his voice will change.
