2020-11-02 00:57:47 +0000 UTCThe story of how Jango became a Marine was a cover page story in the manga, a fun short side series. Jango beat Fullbody in a dance contest, got arrested, and Fullbody used dancing to convince the judges to forgive him (he only joined because Captain Hina's cute). None of this was animated. Other cover stories included Coby and Helmeppo at Navy HQ, Mini-Buggy finding his body parts, Wapol being homeless, Ace continuing his Blackbeard search, Baroque Works Agents reforming, and one of Arlong's men escaping arrest and finding a dream job. Some of these are important to the main plot but only Coby's and Buggy's were animated. There are others I can't even mention until later due to spoilers. As for Baroque Works, they had dreams too, only revealed in the manga. Mr. 0 (Crocodile): Pirate King Mr. 1 (Daz Bonez): Superhero Mr. 4 (Babe): Pizza Boy Mr. 5 (Gem): Fireman Ms. Doublefinger (Zala): Café Owner Ms. Merry Christmas (Drophy): Princess Ms. Valentine (Mikita): Chocolate Maker Ms. Golden Week the painter eventually breaks out Mr. 4, Mr. 5, Ms. Valentine, Doublefinger, Merry Christmas, and Lassoo. They all reopen Paula's New Spiders Café together, fulfilling some of their dreams. The dog's their mascot. Ms. Monday and Mr. 9 are still on Whiskey Peak. They got married and had a kid. Mr. 13 and Ms. Friday (the Unluckies) became Navy sketch artists to capture Baroque workers.
