Introducing Honey Girl Diary 1 (5 Pages), and Other Updates

The first chapter of Honey Girl Diary is available now in the 2022 May Goodies reward folder on Dropbox!

I realized only just now that I neglected to create or distribute a June folder for rewards… whoops! Anyway, your reward folder links from last month should work, so I’ve placed this story in that folder for now!

ALL ABOUT HONEY GIRL DIARY

Today, I’m happy to introduce a new series called Honey Girl Diary. This series is part of a major effort on my part to streamline rewards on Patreon and to nurture the persistent narrative introduced by the feature Good Girls stories. These Honey Girl stories will be short, regular instalments where we can revisit fan favourite girls to see how they’re doing after their feature stories ended. We can also spend more time with the girls in new settings, pairing them up with other characters to explore new short stories (which is a fan-wish sentiment I hear often).

Honey Girl Diary is the first of a few new ideas I’ve had in mind for the future of Good Girls. The purpose with these new ideas and formats is to offer more consistent rewards and stories, so that moving forward you might have a clearer idea what I’m working on and when you can expect to see it. That is to say, I want to tell more stories, more frequently, and more regularly. The style here is a bit more narrative-focused, featuring lots of panels crammed full of artwork and dialogue, rather than my usual pinup style - really getting the most out of that shorter page count.

WHAT’S NEXT?

You’ve all waited very patiently for me to return to ANIMAL INSTINCT, and that is precisely what we can look forward to next! It was very important to me to wrap up some other things first so that I could focus exclusively on telling the rest of Brittany and Zoey’s tale. As you’ve all heard me mention before, I always work happiest when I focus on one project. Part of doing art for a living means you can’t always focus on just one large project, so when I’m able to, I prefer to give these larger projects the time and care to bring them to life to the best of my ability, so… y’know, look forward to that I hope!

I’ll provide a proper standalone ANIMAL INSTINCT update soon, and maybe together we can figure out what fun projects we have to look forward to this Summer ❤️
