“Hey, I'm here,” The friend called out as she let herself in. While she had her own key, and was expected, it never hurt to announce one's arrival. She'd learned that the hard way in the past... seeing her parents do... things... thing she could never unsee...

“I'm in the baby's room, come on in,” a voice echoed from the hall.

The friend made her way down the hall, but stopped short of entering, instead leaning against the doorway, looking at her bestie, who was leaning over the changing table.

The mother looked over her shoulder, and motioned to her friend with a tilted head, “Come over, you gotta see this.”

Folding her arms, the friend smirked, “Nah, I avoided having kids so I'd only ever have to deal with my own crap.”

The mother chuckled, “That's already been cleaned up, you wimp. Now get your butt over here, you'll wanna see this!”

With a roll of her eyes the friend stepped in, and walked up beside the mother, “Fine, fine, what am I-”

“...looking at... fuck.” the words fell out of her open mouth as she stared. She then looked to the mother, then back to the baby, then back to the mother, then back to the baby. This repeated till it was just a fraction away from becoming unfunny.

“...why does your baby have a grown man's dick?”

The mother smirked, “He got that from his daddy!”

The friend looked away from both the mother and the baby as she mused to herself in a soft contemplative tone, “Really?”

The mother began securing her baby's diaper, “Yep.” Such a small response, but one with subtle inflections that carried along the subtext of 'we've been friends for decades, so you can think about my man's monster dick, but if you ever, ever try anything, your body will never be found.'

Not an ounce of the subtext was lost on the friend as she stood in contemplation, before she finally spoke, “So, how long till he's legal?”

The mother held back a snort, but they both knew it was in there, “17 years and six months.”

“I'll set a reminder on my phone.”
