D&D - New Friends, New Foes (Spoiler Warning)
Added 2020-08-18 07:03:49 +0000 UTCThe spoiler warning is for the players in the X-rated D&D game... so that doesn't apply to most of you! I suppose these are also spoilers for anyone playing the official Dungeons & Dragons adventure *The Tomb of Annihilation*.
On their second expedition into the jungles of Chult, the party has made their way to the cliffside monastery of Kir Sabal, home to a colony of avian Aarakocra. The leader of Kir Sabal is the priestess Asharra, otherwise known as the Teacher to her people.
Asharra has promised to perform a ritual for the party known as the Dance of the Seven Winds provided they can procure a black orchid from the Hidden Garden of Nangalore. The ritual promises to grant the party with the gift of flight.
While staying in the monastery, the party also met the headstrong young Princess MwaxanarΓ© and her brother, the seldom-spoken Prince Na. The princess is fascinated and taken with the accomplished adventurers and yearns to join them on their quest, to the chagrin of her caretaker Asharra. MwaxanarΓ© also displays a surprising penchant for magic. She claims to have made a deal with some supernatural entity in exchange for power, but she hides her abilitites from Asharra.
At Nangalore, the party hopes to discover the secret location of the forgotten city of Omu, the ancient seat of power in Chult. One of Alyxia's 'Bang Bounties' points the party to a legendary ancient beauty hidden away in the secret gardens of Nangalore who has been around since the days of the ancient kingdom. Whether they can court the mysterious ancient beauty, and whether she'll be helpful to the party, remains to be seen...
