Updates & X-Rated D&D Pilot Program

I'll keep the update brief. You all know what's going on in the world and how crazy it's been. On top of that, we've been moving, and that's complicated my weekend and my workflow considerably.

But now I can get back to drawing and let you know what to look forward to this week - mainly some new Milk Candy and Cinnamon Hearts, the first illustration poll image (Private Tutorial with Charlotte, Rupi and Apollo), and a commission starring Nileya and Evelyn! As well as a steamy MFF threesome illustration for fans of the Aimi Abroad series XD

Well, we may be living on top of boxes, but at least I'm in a situation where I can get back to drawing - AND stay indoors and stay safe!

Speaking of staying indoors...

X-Rated D&D Pilot Program

Since a lot of us are looking for things to do while we're stuck on lockdown or in self-isolation, some patrons and I were discussing the possibility of starting a Dungeons & Dragons games on Roll20. A lot of you who have joined the Discord already know I'm a huge nerd for tabletop RPGs, and Roll20 (a virtual tabletop that you can play on your browser) facilitates online games of D&D beautifully.

The proposal is to invite players to join me (as your DM) to play in some famous published D&D 5E adventures (like the vampiric Curse of Strahd, or the jungle expedition in Tomb of Annihilation) with the twist that the whole game will be tweaked for X-Rated content!

Participation would cost $40 per month and would include weekly sessions of 3-4 hours each for 4-5 players (so about $10 per session). I'll provide custom artwork for players' characters, as well as for unique monsters and NPCs that might get the X-rated treatment. You don't have to be a patron to apply, but patrons will receive a 1:1 discount based on their pledge level. That means $50 patrons won't need to pay anything to participate, and a $10 patron would only be paying $30/month.

The truth is, I don't know how much interest people have in an idea like this, so I would encourage anyone interested (X-Rated or otherwise) to message me here, via email, in the comments, or on Discord. My goal right now is to get enough interested parties together for a 'pilot game' of D&D on Roll20 - playing for a couple of weeks so I could determine how to roll this out and on what scale. How far we take it after that...? We'll have to wait and see!

Stay safe and stay indoors, everyone!

It's a bit of a learning curve and requires some financial investment, but after a couple of 'test' sessions, we're all invested and all enjoying D&D as though we were all at the same table. If this continues to go well, we're considering moving our main campaign 'Descent into Avernus' onto Roll20 as well (for the time being). For the financial part, maybe all of your players could chip in some money for the cost of the adventure. You don't necessarily need to buy any of the PHB or Xanathar material because you can just fill in your character sheet directly. If people own their own PHBs, they'll just have to keep them nearby while they play. I really wanna run Salt Marsh. I keep reading the adventures in that book, and they're so exciting XD Especially 'The Final Enemy'... a themed dungeon crawl, lots of enemies, and encouragement for players to find alternate solutions to problems rather than fighting each one head on... love it!

My friends and I have been playing Yawning Portal and Princes of the Apocalypse via Roll20. If you buy the content via Roll20, they give you all the maps you need and a lot of the encounters are pregenerated, with NPCs and such already placed on the maps.

question how does one play? Skype or something else? I am running Salt March now. But because of the virus people are wanting to skype in. Not sure that is a good way of doing it for 6 people.

OhioOkie

it's a lot more work for homebrew!

rainwater

funny, i had a similar idea some time ago, but didn't pushed it cause no time.

Darkminou

All interested players so far seem to be EST, so that's neat XD

rainwater

If this kicks off, we'll be posting stories, sketches, and illustrations from the sessions. I hope everyone is able to enjoy it, even if they can't play!

rainwater

Yes. I am in EST

OhioOkie

Thank you for your support ^^ I'll definitely keep you in mind as we move forward!

rainwater

The timing would be absolutely paramount. I can adjust to anyone else's schedule, but the players will likely all have to be in the same timezone!

rainwater

If I had any freetime, this would have been very cool. -.-

Dan K

My problem would be coordinating the times.

OhioOkie

Definitely interested in a pilot, and happy to volunteer if there's any planning or logistics I can help with!
