I wanted to do something really special to send out the year of hell that has been 2020. Since I have been enjoying the cool FaceApp my friend got me, I decided I should create something nifty with that.
I had no idea how much work it would become. Dressing up in the costumes (which I usually love), taking photos on a timer, checking to see if the photo looks okay, doing it over and over for little corrections, sending the images to the FaceApp, making the alterations in the photos, sending them back to my computer, editing them for posting, adding story text, and all that jazz.
It took easily five times longer (okay, maybe ten) than I anticipated, and has been a world of hassle I never expected.
And it has been so, SO worth it.
I hope you enjoy the story. Yes, every single image really is me. Be aware that each post has multiple images, so be sure not to overlook anything. The page numbers on each image should help in following along.
