Nothing crazy, but I'll be posting the photos and journal entry in the post in addition to the journal entry image above. I think it'll just make these entries easier to enjoy! I'll also be revisiting the old Aimi Abroad posts and re-posting them in this style as well. Aimi's Journal - Japan, New Years Eve
It's the holidays, and I'm free from any assignments for the time being! It's rare that I get to choose how to spend my New Years, so this year I decided to return to Japan. I found an affordable hostel, but to my surprise, I started to feel a little lonely. :(
Fortunately, I met an awesome girl staying at the same hostel as me. Yeon-Ah was visiting Japan from her home in Korea, and we were able to communicate just enough to keep each other company while shopping, sight-seeing, and going out for drinks! She was so pretty and cool!
We somehow ended up at the same rooftop New Years party. We had a lot of fun taking pictures in the dresses we helped each other pick out, and we shared way too many drinks!
Unsurprisingly, things got a little flirty between us, and before I knew it, we were looking for some privacy so we could get to know each other a little more intimately... <3
Yeon-Ah's breath and skin were flush with warmth from all the drinks, making it especially easy to get close to her. I was surprised still when she kissed me first! I'm not sure when precisely the new year started, but I'm confident that my new friend and I were celebrating in our own way on the floor of that elevator when it did. ;)
Thankfully, we took a little photo to commemorate the occasion. Best New Years ever! <3 <3 <3
