Sneak Peek! Banana Split 4 Cover Page & 2020 Update

My 2020 so far has been a lot of thinking and planning. I'm setting out to accomplish goals this year, encouraged by you amazing lot that have helped me do this and gotten involved with me telling these fun stories.

To my regret, I don't always achieve my goals, but those of you who communicate with me regularly - either via email, patreon, discord, whatever - know that I value transparency and completing goals. I will always do my best to communicate with all of you and to accomplish what I set out to do.

REWARDS

My number one goal this year is to deliver rewards that will make pledging as a regular patron more valuable for all of you.

The regular monthly illustration polls will continue - except that I'll put in more of an effort to make sure they happen every month. To that end, $5+ tiers that get to contribute to the poll entries will now be asked to contribute to the following month's poll entries - so that I have all the info I need before the month starts (starting this month, so keep an eye out for it!)

Another reward I've been excited for has been making Banana Split stories into more regular content. Previously, we'd been dipping above and below the threshold for regular Banana Split stories, and even though we're above the threshold right now, that could change. In the meantime, to honour the current number of total pledges, I have started working on a new Banana Split story (the cover page teased above), and do have plans to create more regular, shorter Banana Split stories. This next one won't be short, but following stories probably will be. Maybe. We'll see.

I feel like every year I say the same thing to myself, but this is going to be the year of $10+ patrons. I will reveal more soon before the end of the month, as I've been working closely with a certain patron to produce a new series that I believe will fit best in this tier. This will be the first $10+ exclusive series, and is only the start of my commitment to making this tier into the most valuable sub-50 tier this year. And you get to see the first few pages for yourself before the month is over.

REGULAR CONTENT

Scheduling regular content is very important to me, because it gives us all something to look forward to, and informs you on what sort of content you can expect.

Weekly Content includes regular Good Girls pages (Milk Candy being the current Good Girls story), as well as Fun & Games pages for the $5+ patrons. Sporadic Short Shorts entries will continue next month, with likely one or two entries going up weekly - here for all levels and for free on Discord.

Monthly Content includes illustrations from our themed monthly polls - typically one idea of my own and the two suggestions that received the most votes, as well as any other fun ideas dreamed up by our $50+ patrons (such as Aimi Abroad). Also, Evelyn's profile page was fairly popular (thank you, everyone!), so I will be continuing with more profile pages - at least once a month ^^

Sweetness will continue to be released at more or less the same pace, so once every two to three months, and will help patrons of all levels catch up on content they missed, either because they weren't around or because they were not at the correct pledge level for that content when it was released.

STARTING THINGS OFF...

To get things started, I'm committing some time to completing some old projects that were interrupted for one reason or another. You'll notice this soon with even more updates to the Mid Autumn Festival 2 story, and with some revisions and updates to the art in some of the older Honeypot Sweeties cards (for those of you familiar with either project). But I won't go on about this. I'll let my work speak for itself and you can see what I mean when we get there.

I hope this all gives you an idea of what we can look forward to this year. I almost didn't bother writing this post, but figuring this out was very important to me - and once I figured it out, it occurred to me that this might be very important to you to. It might not seem much different from how things were before, but I certainly feel more focused and better knowing that you can all see where my attention is.
