I drew this on Grandparents Day in honor of my recently deceased Granny.
She adored Humming Birds, and the two colors featured are her favorite ones. It wasn't intended to be a certain breed- I just colored it like this. The tips of the wings are pink while there's a lotta teal. I really hope this piece can grow inside.
I was livestreaming this on my Twitch.. and once I finished I... started to cry..
Because... she won't see this.
She will never see this nor any of my art
As selfish as that sounds...
I hate so much that I didn't pay more attention. Didn't check in more. Nor visit more. Or any of that...
I always thought it would be "in the future" like I'll talk to her later. It would be no big deal---- till she was gone.
Wow.
Okay.
So I'm already tearing up.

My Granny was a sweet woman. She had a bit of old fashion tale about her- but she always smiled. She would always wake up and make delicious blueberry muffins. Her treats for xmas will forever be a staple- her cooking was so good. She wasn't the most perfect person. No one is. She wasn't the most patient on the inside but outside she had a lot pf patience. (When it came to family drama, you gotta be) So... yeah...
I will always love you Granny.
Always loved. Never forgotten.
