Yes to all comments. I try to be a patreon as long as possible. I am all in for new reverbs/spaces, hopefully even some without those metallic drone tones. Galactic is great and BrightAmbience 3 is a win too. Airwindows and Ryukau Plugins together is already a huge sound container.

You have us all so *unbelievably* spoiled. “No free plug-in this week? Ye gods!” Seriously, I think we all just want to support whatever you’re doing. And to echo Michel Rabe’s comment here, hard times are what community is for. Only plugin subscription I’ll ever pay for.

Best wishes and strength to you, Chris. Rare to find true creativity and you're the real deal. Just for the record, personally I don't need a new plugin every week, though I very much like hearing you talk about tech, music and sound any time you're so inclined. I'll be here.

Chris, you alone release more amazing plugins, do more bug fixing and have your plugins compatible in more platforms than any giant audio company. On top of all that, you released an awesome album, made music videos and tutorials (Evergreens included). No vaporware, no hype, just pure, honest and impeccable work ethic from you. That’s why people have a relation with you that no other plugin creator/company has, you’re someone to look up to and to learn on how to get great things done through hard times. I don’t know of anyone as resilient and productive. Sir, I tip my hat to you! I have no idea of what else is going on in your life but i find it perfectly understandable and relatable to become a cave guy and shut your brain off for as long as you need, and health always comes first. On my part, I will not de-patron and I’ll increase my tiny contribution as soon as I can (I’m restarting my life in the UK, I’m one of the most published Portuguese composers but the corrupt Portuguese copyright system is holding my royalties leaving me with nothing for 25 years of work. It’s an ongoing battle so…money is hard right now, but the future is looking bright here in the UK :) soon dear Sir, soon… Your ongoing contribution to music is unique for our times and I’m sure that soon it will be discovered by much more people. For now it might be hidden by the ad-driven algorithms where people pay for the appearance of success. In a world of fake and make believe, you managed to create a community that’s a a breath of fresh air: composed of real people, wonderfully positive and that is making a slow and steady impact for the better. Kindness rarely enters the competitive world of music, you managed to do that while giving us real futuristic audio tools (That’s right, Airwindows is what futuristic audio sounds like…”and get that goddamn fake audio A.I. out of my lawn/Daw!”) I think it’s safe to say that you have everyone rooting for you and your loved ones. Stay strong.

If it's any consolation, Airwindows is / has improved the music of myself and many others. I have two albums in the pipeline and both were transformed by your work. Anyway, as they say 'hang in there' and best wishes.

Hi Chris, I am sorry to hear it's been bad. I hope a change for the better is approaching you fast. And I like it when someone takes time for himself - to take care of himself - however he knows best. Self care is so important. Take as much time as you need. I look forward to your return.

Completely understand .. I only know one other indie plugin developer who releases at anywhere near your rate, and he's using JSFX so you've got it much harder. Thank you again for all that you do, you're one of the most generous people that I've ever come across in the audio community, and a role model for everyone, and especially other plugin developing Chrises. If at some future point you're feeling more comfortable around your fans, I'm sure the Airwindows audiophiles discord server would love to see you, although there's probably some overlap between the folks on there and on the facebook group. As for me, I've got things in the pipeline too when the rest of life doesn't get in the way, I've got some follow up work to do on ComPressure (a dual channel compressor with a GUI based on Pressure5) and myself and some others are working on something relatively big that all started because of your work on BitShiftGain. When I can allocate the time this year, my plan is to develop more plugins that have foundations in your excellent DSP code with a GUI to make them a bit more accessible to the masses. Take care, Chris, and as much time as you need .. you have a devoted fanbase that will be looking forward to your return.
