patreon

Quick question

To me, the patreon is a way to show appriciation to a person. And considering the time and diificulties, it musty takes to program a plugin, you deserve this amount of money, and probably even more. So whatever choice you make is good. I am more interested in plugins. But a bit of both is cool too. The idea of a vintage sampler plugin is very tempting. Anyway, I love your style ofdevelopment, and all those orignial ideas you have, to come up with fun stuff . If you do anything software, don't forget to put your own style in it . Because it's one of a kind ;-)

I say go with the plugin option. While I think it would be very fun to tinker around with hardware, I think it will be more beneficial to more people for you to make more plugins. I would love to see the Airwindows approach on a 1073, or an 1176, or whatever piece of old gear calls to you really. I think adding those to your catalogue will also help you bring in more new people and patrons, and I want to see you continue to succeed! I also like the idea of my patreon dollars going to young kids and people who can't afford stuff to be able to get great plugins for what they can afford.

hi, I would vote for the plugin direction. As an " in the box" producer I really appreciate the dedication you have for providing us with quality plugins.

That is a great idea with vintage, samplers, You know it! I'd much rather vintage sampler over guitar pedals. I was recently searching out plug ins that have AI element, (not for writing melodies), instead organizational. Specifically a sampler that populates combos of your sample library sounds, so it offers new palettes. I found this plug in called "XO" which does it for drum sounds, but it's way too visually and function wise consuming and I'm sure a CPU hog. Anyway thank you and I look forward to your ideas way more than mine.

I'm not interested in DIY Synth. That being said i'd go for the THOSE direction. ;)

personally i'm here to support the fantastic software, but that also means just supporting you in just about all ways - you've already given so much and if you want to make room for more passion projects then go for it. if you're happy, i'm happy.

I've joined because of your amazing plugins. I'm not interested in DIY stuff. Maybe you could make short videos with unorthodox ways of using/combining your plugins to inspire people? But at the end of the day it's all up to you. I will support anyways.

here's a link to an example of how to setup the filter morphing on the e6400. https://youtu.be/18Li9Z1XITs

Keep some of the money for you insted. Your plugin production is more than enough. You could make a vst compander to go with your tape plugins or other of your great ideas!

While I'm interested in the DIY thing, I just don't have the time for it, sadly. On the other hand I use plugins every day and good ones are always welcome. Would love some lush Airwindows modulation fx. Preamps and such are cool, but there is also a lot of flavour in hardware fx units like the Ensoniq DP/4, Yamaha SPX900/990 and guitar pedals which are not variations on distortion. Big fan of having multiple distortion/saturation flavours, but if you want to balance the portfolio out a bit then maybe do something which is more of an fx than a box tone thing? Also, how about an Embers Breaks channel strip? :P
