Evergreens Podcast 2019-08-28
Added 2019-08-29 00:13:17 +0000 UTCHi! Still working on the tech. I've totally revised the recording chain, adjusting all manner of things from the tonearm to use of plugins for filling in the low bass (BassKit to the rescue!), and with this new rig I bring you the second Evergreens Podcast (it's still Wednesday, so I'm still keeping my promise ;) )
And it's Fleetwood Mac's Rumours. Oh boy is there a lot to hear on this one.

Note that I'm still working on the tech: having recorded it all, I found that I was getting heavy class A distortion on the vinyl playback. That's got to be my fancy-pants tube preamplifier, so I have more work to do and there are improvements to be made. However, I feel like you'll forgive some remnants of distortyness (not part of the record) because you'll be able to hear what I'm going on about much more easily this time. It will only get better, but here you go. (edit: I was able to fix it, but too late for this week. Next week you will be amazed at how clean (and deep in bass) vinyl can get)
