Lincane Eurorack Panels

This: http://mdbuildingproducts.com/product/1-x-2-lincane-aluminum-sheet-020-thick-2/ is the panel that I made into the Bastl Kastle eurorack mount. You can get 'em on Amazon, at Home Depot, perhaps other places: don't know if there are any actually good places through which you can get this stuff, but there's some options anyhow :)

Using this sort of material (it'll work with moveable rack nuts, might or might not work with predrilled rails without drilling extra holes in the lincane stuff) you can mount many things to a Eurorack. It's soft enough that you can even use scissors or whatever to expand the holes, or you can snip out whatever you need.

My idea is to make DIY stuff more accessible to people who'd like to get into modular synthesis, but don't have a machine shop. It should be possible to fill in some of these details by coming up with techniques amateurs can use. Ideally, if you have a soldering iron and can buy $20 worth of parts from Mouser, Digi-Key or wherever, you can build something that'll work in your rack.

I'll be building more stuff, and I'll link to the parts I use.

If you'd like to build a Kastle, this is the link to the DIY kit Bastl sell: http://www.bastl-instruments.com/kastle-v1-5-assembly/ As of the posting of this video, they're out of stock but you can backorder Kastle kits for 67 euros (VAT not included) :)
