Orb: On the Movements of the Earth 1x20 "I Love Heliocentrism" - reaction & review

Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to episode 20 of Orb!! OMG!!!! You guys, Jolenta's dialogue here was so good, we were getting everyone's motivations in this one! But DANG, of course she planned to go down with the ship! The way it happened was so heartbreaking though....thinking of her past as it happened, just missing Nowak, and him holding the hand...!!!! It's too much! Draka's definitely changing now though! Can't wait for more! Enjoy! ~ MH

I’ll say it, this was painful. I think what Jolenta was saying was beautiful and the talk of conviction throughout this episode was epitomes in her speech, still even though I’m happy that she went out how she planned it hurt losing her. Man we just reunited with her. I want so badly to know her journey after she her departure from Nowak. I’m so tired of all these people I like not being around so long but leaving such an impact. It just hurts too much 😓 And more importantly did Nowak see her?! I can never read his expressions right. I’d like to think he saw her or at least entertain the possibility somehow with what he thinks he saw— idk 😖 Man what awful thing is gonna happen next 😣

Hahaha I do see it now :P That's the thing, it's kind of about the meaning of life. It's the age old question! Yeah I kinda thought of Dr. Stone! It's so sad that Nowak has no idea! That's the thing, in the dark and 25 years later, he probably wouldn't immediately recognize her. I love that they're all uniting over Jolenta. Of friggin course the knights would show up! This show does not want me to be happy!!

“Guys, on the one HAND I thought they’d meet one more time…” You don’t see the irony in that statement? 😅 What is interesting about this episode is it really is a deep dive into human behavior and what drives people. Draka and Schmidt both have very different ideas about how the world should be, but it all comes down to a fundamental question: for what purpose are we born? Even if a human has a completely happy life, it is still finite. It comes to an end. So what are we all living for? It’s a deep philosophical question. And part of the problem with peace in this world is everyone comes to their own unique conclusions. There is a bit of a comparison with Dr. Stone with the question about technology - and how humans use the raw materials they can’t create themselves. So, remember when I said “things aren’t going to go the way you think?” Jolenta kinda saw to that when she became a martyr. Why she did it was her own belief system, and she was following it. I actually don’t think Nowak knows that he was looking at her for that split second, but he wondered. He has no confirmation or any way to determine it’s her - and remember, he had not seen her in 25 years so it would be difficult to recognize her immediately, anyway. Despite everyone’s disagreements, they all agree that they need to carry out Jolenta’s wish and publish the book so her sacrifice is actually bringing more people together for her cause. Of course random knights would show up though…. You probably should stop telling this show what you want to happen because it mostly just tells you “No, get away! You can’t have it!” 😅
