Orb: On the Movements of the Earth 1x19 "Morality Is Something You Find When You're Lost" - reaction & review
Added 2025-06-13 14:44:04 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to episode 19 of Orb!! Omg, we got to catch up with Jolenta a lot in this one and....wow! She's been through a lot :( But she's found herself quite a bit don't you think? She seems like one of the few who can really see this whole situation from multiple angles, as opposed to just her own. On the other hand, it feels like Nowak doubled down!!!! Do you think he'll have to face off with his own daughter?! And if he does, won't he just take her side.....or won't he?!?!!? Can't wait for more! Enjoy! ~ MH

Nowak's pretty broken alright :/ That's a great point about the difference in freedom that these two women have had. OMG you're not kidding about the plot! How could I not notice they didn't Chi?!

2025-06-19 20:59:30 +0000 UTCIt’s crazy seeing Jolenta again. She has been through a lot. Still she has turned into such a wiser person. Her words in this episode cut deep especially when it came to that writing segment. That hit me in the feels so much 😭 Wild also seeing Nowak. At first I thought “awesome they’ll see each other again” but with two strong currently unwavering convictions I’m not sure what will happen if they do run into each other. 😬

2025-06-19 17:50:13 +0000 UTC“I think I’m starting to get a handle on things in this show.” Show: “Challenge accepted. Here’s a shot of ghost Oczy!” I am not 100% positive on this, but I think Damian may have been the other inquisitor training under Nowak - the one who put the screws to the first “heretic.” What’s interesting about this particular turn of events is it shows you how much someone can learn over a period of time. His thought process has changed. Speaking of thought processes, it’s pretty clear Nowak hasn’t exactly been doing “well” over the last 25 years. He’s okay and taken care of, but he doesn’t really have anything driving him anymore. That is, until he hears about the case… and all of a sudden he’s back into work mode. Jolenta makes a comment about how much has changed since Saturn was last in the video area she shows Draka, and she doesn’t really mince words with here. She’s her own sort of vengeful, particularly against church orthodoxy (who can blame her) but at the same time as she’s irritated by Draka’s attitude, she also realizes that Draka has a degree of freedom that has eluded her ever since she started this path. The things that were triggered in the previous arc are now showing their fruition, albeit a long time later. Oh, and… don’t be so sure you know how the plot is going to drive, it likes to take sharp turns every chance it gets. :P -Am I the only one who noticed the lack of a “CHI” in this episode? 👀
