For all he's done, and all I feel about him for taking my sweet Oczy and Badeni out of this world....he truly, truly loved his daughter. Even more than he feared whatever the church was trying to enforce. Do you think he'll go after them?! Or is he just broken?! Dang! Enjoy! ~ MH

That's right! :') For real, he used their heads haha! Badeni was really actually so deep and thoughtful, despite seeming a bit cold at times! It really is just too cruel, even for Nowak. Down with Antoni! RIP nice monk! Exactly, that's precisely what separates them. OMG for real, like how are they even the same VA?!

Yeah after shutting his emotions off so long I'm sure it took a little while to really come undone. Oh I didn't even think of that scene being the catalyst, that's a good point! That is really sad about Grabowski, I doubt he would've wanted to do anything to hurt Badeni! I do remember Badeni saying that, but then he burned it!? So who knows how it survived! Hahah I see what you did there! No head tattoos for me please :p

I thought I forgot something. What a freaking genius idea and definitely great symbolism. That was using their heads (ba-dum-tss) :oD That’s so awesome how they ended up making things come together. Badeni really was a big softie. I’m seeing our first encounter with Nowak in my mind and I want to acknowledge the karma but that’s too cruel. Antoni has to go down. Like good kid monk (RIP) it’s hard to love thy enemy but that’s what separates us from monsters like Antoni. He is nothing like Senku’s dad 😭

2025-06-06 11:18:10 +0000 UTCOrb is kind of an anime where you’re driving down different roads for episodes at a time, and then you have to turn onto an interchange to get to the next road. We had the Rafal story, and now we’re exiting the Oczy/Badeni highway. Antoni’s VA is Byakuya (Senku’s dad) in Dr. Stone. I think what we’re witnessing in the opening scene is how far people are willing to go to protect their own secrets - we’ve got a initiate who is still taking the “source material,” as you called it, at face value, and we have someone in a position of authority, who is doing whatever they can to keep it. It’s an age-old trope, but it applied in the 15th century just as much as today. I think Nowak’s reaction to the news about Jolenta was fairly delayed because of a couple reasons - first, he never really shows emotions at work as a mercenary - and two, he was probably somewhat in shock at the news. It didn’t really hit him until after a bit of time went past. When they were showing the flashback, I also think her outburst might’ve been something that he was thinking about as a catalyst for what he thinks happened. Also, could it be that he isn’t on the warpath because he somewhere down there knows that he’s been on the other end of this story a lot of the time, and this is karma? Here’s the horrible irony regarding Grabowski: the book of codes he picked up that led to the tip from Oczy and Badeni’s capture isn’t something they did - it was the book that fell from the roof that Count Piast was holding and just happened to fall under that bush. Remember what Badeni said to Oczy last episode though? “My work is to voluminous to reproduce. But your work will survive.” Or something to that effect. But seriously, writing a whole book on the domes of sixty people? No wonder they were a little uneasy about doing what he said after the bread ran out. But at the same time, that’s… (this may be a little too on the nose) - using your head? 😅 As far as what we’re doing now, well, you’ll have to turn the next page. I might need to cut your hair first though… 👀
