Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 2 episode 24 of Haikyu!! OMG!!!! You guys, I'm so freaking proud of them! WOW did both teams really give it their everything, and everyone had a chance to shine! But dang, that little showdown between Hinata and Oikawa....with Oikawa actually starting to respond to Hinata's move, but just missing by a centimeter! In all fairness, Seijoh really brought it, but DANG, Karasuno being on top feels SO GOOD!!!! Can't wait for what's next! Good stuff! Enjoy! ~ MH

2025-05-29 11:16:14 +0000 UTCI’ve said this a couple of times but since you got confused earlier, it’s worth repeating - you have to win a volleyball set by two points or more. You weren’t wrong on “first to 25,” but since Seijoh had 24 points the score was only 25-24, a difference of only one point : therefore the match continued. :) Every time they show Yachi up in the stands I do feel I need to make a side by side comparison because the facial s expressions are remarkably similar. XD The point where Oikawa refers to Hinata as “stupid” might’ve come off differently to you than the intent - he was backhanded complimenting his stubbornness. As in, he’s so zoned on he doesn’t have to unlearn what everyone else is expecting of him. Only Ep 24 is posted at this point but I imagine you’ve recorded the finale at this point: but to answer your question, this was the semifinals (4 teams enter, 2 advance). And this is just the tournament to get to the BIG tournament. So whoever shows up next, winner gets to go, loser goes home. Though I don’t think anybody needs to be told who the most probable opponent is at this point… As far as Seijoh becoming a rival, this is it for their third years as well, so that remains to be seen. A lot of these players won’t still be on the teams next year. Which is why Asahi, Daichi and Suga are hanging on every point. :) Have you figured out why people like sports yet? 😂
