Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 2 episode 21 of Haikyu!! WOW you guys, I was really hoping there would be some kind of down side with this new player - and it's not that he isn't reckless, but shoot, who knew he'd get better as time went on?! Not to mention, Oikawa really knows how to bring out his best! This could be bad for our crew!! Good stuff! Enjoy! ~ MH

Oh no kidding! I can't hear any Einar in there, that's crazy! Yeah honestly both teams looked pretty surprised. I'm so ready for his redemption arc! Oh the bonus scenes sound interesting! It's actually too bad no one's compiled them in one video, although that might be hard to keep up on YouTube! I think it'd be worth seeing, thanks!

XD I think the main focus on this episode is the amount of chaos inserted into the match by Kyotani. Even his own teammates really don’t know what he’s going to do most of the time. There was even one point where the players on Karasuno were reacting the same as Seijoh. “Did he just do what it looked like he did?” And it wasn’t always a good play. This sort of dynamic usually occurs when a player who’s not normally active gets into a match and he’s not used to the team, and vice versa. Oikawa’s job as the setter is to figure out how to point the “mad dog” in the proper direction, but first he’s going to have to stop him from hurting his own team just to do what he wants. As far as Yamaguchi, he’s chomping at the bit because he wants/needs a redemption arc. But it is important to remember since they won set #1, losing set #2 just forces a final third set, it’s not game over. That being said, momentum is real - and the hard truth in sports is there’s only one team who ends up winning it all. Side question: when the second season is done, you may have seen the movies in the Crunchyroll app. They’re largely seasonal recaps that just play out the highlights of each season - but there are some bonus scenes added (I don’t think it’s more than 10m worth). Do you want to look at those scenes post-Ep 25? I can go find the time stamps if you’re interested in that. Still a couple weeks for you to think about it. :)
