Added 2025-05-11 00:14:34 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to episode 10 of Orb!! YAY!! Heliocentrism got proven!!! It wasn't easy, but Badeni managed to figure it out! I also like to think that Oczy's sweet wonderful nature rubbed off on him, but I'm still wondering what he meant with that beggar! Speaking of which, Oczy is learning to read and write, YAY!!! And just what is gonna happen now that Fr. Grabowski found that book!? Can't wait to see what happens next! Enjoy! ~ MH

That's ok! I'm still glad I was prepared haha! I see what you mean about misinformation, honestly I think there will be misinformation no matter how tightly kept information is though. But yeah, we certainly deal with a lot of it as a result of all the access everyone has! Badeni on the floor was everything! I love Oczy, he's just too good! Ahhhh the new inquisitors being involved later makes me scared! Also we still haven't done anything with Jolenta, you know it's coming! And the tunnel!!! I have a feeling it's gonna get rough from here....!

I mean even in the world today where education is easily accessible, misinformation is everywhere, not to say that I agree with not allowing everyone access to education, but that misinformation is rampant. Good to get some more backstory about Badeni in this one. Idk why I assumed his scar had something to do with his eye but I forgot those were separate. the scene where Badeni sleeps on the floor is one of my favorites. it's just so surprisingly funny. I did not expect Grabowski to be the one to pick up Piast's book, I wonder how it's going to affect Grabowski and what he is going to do from this point on. Badeni really made himself a badass in his cover story for what happened to his eye lmao. Oczy's a good boy. He’s such a pure soul and hearing him yearn to be able to read just struck a chord with me. Something we all take for granted nowadays. My heart immediately sunk when they revealed those are inquisitor trainees, I dread those fucks and Nowak's going to train those 2 trainees that seems like they will be important characters moving forward. Still waiting for that inevitable Nowak and Jolenta conflict. Also, they're not introduce building a tunnel into the story and not use it, they're 100% going to use it at some point and I am not looking forward to it. Badeni has now completed the heliocentric theory, now how will he reveal it to the world without the inquisitors coming for him (they will) and having the world and the Church accept it.

2025-05-11 23:37:22 +0000 UTCThat was another thing! Forever these knowledge seekers brought so much good valuable information to the table. But their findings or assumptions could be disproven (so to speak) one way or another. One of the first tests we did was about the discoverers, from Kepler to Einstein. So much information about smart-smart people to retain in just one week 😭 I can’t remember details but the elliptical application was a huge deal. The two necklace pendants that helped Badeni have an epiphany here, that’s what we had to draw in class. Two dots and then draw an elliptical shape around it. We had to pick a dot (didn’t matter which one) and pretend it was a planet. This was to show us the difference between the two but so much information escaped my mind since then 🫠 I don’t remember which person made the discovery or observation but using ellipses rather than perfect circles filled in gaps, crossed out doubt in areas and answered a lot of puzzling things and made things more clear. Like the retrograde motion thing it tripped a lot of people up for the longest time. Like Badeni said Piast’s model was imperfect but it’s not like the theory seemed wrong more the records. Because before this the perfect circles didn’t provide answers to orbital rotation and revolution. Piast was smart but it’s just that bit that would have rocked his world. RIP Man the music at the end scared me. When we met Piast I thought we had a group and now I’m back to two and Nowak is back with two inquisitors. This is so not fun again. I’m scared again I don’t to let either of them go. Please let’s just skip those episodes 😖
