Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 2 episode 18 of Haikyu!! Wow you guys, Wakunan REALLY gave it their all here! It all just came down to that absolute determination and willpower that Hinata showed right at the end with that play! And WOW, Ennoshita really proved himself here! Here's hoping Yamaguchi gets his chance to do that too! But I mean, approval from Daichi and Noya in one day?! That's pretty amazing! Now onto Date Tech vs Seijoh....should be interesting!!! Good stuff! Enjoy! ~ MH

That's the thing, being the best version of himself was way better than trying to copy Daichi's style. Oh thanks for explaining the wipe! That's true, there's plenty of sports All Mights huh! LOLLLL I see what you did there!

2025-05-08 11:11:59 +0000 UTCI don’t think I mentioned Ennoshita’s VA, but he’s the same as Kirishima from MHA. You have to just kinda cackle at the way Kageyama and Hinata are taking swings at each other one second and the next they’re talking strategy with everyone. I swear these two (no shipping implications from me here, mind you) act way too much like an old married couple sometimes. XD I think the important thing for Ennoshita was hearing from everyone else around him “stop trying to be Daichi, you aren’t.” Everybody’s got a different spin on things, you can’t be somebody else, so work on being the best version of yourself instead. I think I should explain what a wipe actually is, or at least the context they’re using it in. Going for a wipe, means intentionally targeting the player blocking you and hitting it at a certain angle so the other team touches it last and pushes it out of bounds on either side. It’s risky, but well, we didn’t spend all that time at the training camp for nothing. The Little Giant is being compared by you to All Might which isn’t far off, but a sports comparison might be for example, basketball players in the mid 90s all watched Michael Jordan, even if they didn’t root for his team. Sports fans are drawn to people who are good at the one they’re interested in. However, remember the rule: it’s okay to emphasize with players and people on other teams but once the game starts, you have to forget all that. It’s your team against theirs and it’s as simple as that. You want to advance and they’re in the way. Only one team gets to climb all the way to the top. Apparently Daichi could’ve come back earlier but he didn’t want to rain on Ennoshita’s parade. He was too busy watching him “set his heart ablaze.” (Too soon? 😉)
