Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to episode 7 of Orb!! I CALLED IT YOU GUYS!!!! Dang, I'm so excited and scared that I got that right, because it's gonna mean some big juicy drama for our crew!! Also, I feel for her a lot, because she's another person who isn't fitting into this world and for some really unjust reasons. I think she's gonna be a great addition to our little team here but DANG are we all really skirting the edge in terms of danger!!! Can't wait to see what happens next! Enjoy! ~ MH

JUICYYYY!!!!! 🫢 Some of Badeni’s views are funny to me, especially here because Bruno would NEVER pass the chance up to help the unfortunate. Ozcy is such a doll for wanting to and giving his portion (if they succeed) to Rafael’s dad. Once you said Kolbe might use his name instead I felt it too. Man what a bumhole. I know there’s reason behind his narrative however the way he talks and his face you can tell it’s likely meant to show how wrong this all is on purpose. He’s really exploiting her regardless of the fact. And what suck is it is what it is. 25:57-39:26 “he is right about this, he is a good man, etc.” according to how it is now in her lifetime. This is the reality. That’s so awful. 😞

It's crazy to think that Rafal's curiosity lives on through none other than Nowak's daughter. Lol yeah that's the thing, like Kolbe wasn't even doing it out of malice. A little arrogance maybe, but I think also a profound desire to keep Jolenta safe as well, which is crazy and makes this situation even harder to process!! But yeah, he's certainly not getting nothing out of this either, so there's probably a selfish aspect as well. Badeni was not showing his sweetest side in this one lol, like dang! (He's way sweeter in your fic ;) but then he also has a backstory haha) Yay to our new trio! I hope nothing bad happens to them :/

I'm really happy that you like it and that you also caught the references in this episode that I used in my fanfic. WE FINALLY GOT TO MEET NOWAK'S DAUG- I MEAN, JOLENTA !! First of all, I'm so proud of you for figuring out right from the start that Jolanta is Nowak's daughter. I mean, it wasn't that obvious from the beginning, but I’ll give you headpats for sensing it. But with the voice actor’s voice, it was immediately clear in that scene that Nowak is her father. I must say, I really love her character. In a way, she resembles Rafal, which is the least ironic to think about, how Nowak's daughter ended up with the same interests has Rafal. Rafal's inspiration was so great that even his daughter is following his steps. Anyways, I could see from a distance that Kolbe was using Jolenta to get more praise. I believe he might not be the worst character that is on the show, but he sure knows that what he's doing is not correct. I just hope that Jolenta gets the recognition she deserves, in the future. I’m definitely with you on giving Kolbe a headbutt—he totally deserves it. But like Jolenta said, it fits the spirit of the 14th century. As a young girl, you just weren’t welcomed in those kinds of circles, especially when it came to science. And in that sense, she’s actually lucky to even have the chance to assist someone at all. But it was so obvious that Kolbe would use her talent for his own purposes. And he genuinely thinks he’s protecting her, which isn’t such a bad thought in itself. I mean, things could’ve turned out much worse for Jolenta. As we know, women didn’t have many rights back then, and a young girl like her was easy prey for truly malicious people. Badeni is more of a narcicistic than we thought. Honestly, not respecting the wishes from the previous researchers is just plain imoral, especially because he wasn't the one to come up with that idea in the first place, don't act all almighty Badeni. Can't believe Oczy was the one that had the idea that it was actually something not ethical to do. Anyways, that end of the episode was chilling, and I can't wait to see the talk they are going to have. The trio is finally formed.
