Haikyu!! 2x11 "Above'" - reaction & review

Well I called it - not exactly a win but a great lesson and such a huge step up for every single member of the team! Turns out Bokuto is habitually emo LOL and they just knew how to work around that! But it was still great seeing our teams get to know each other, particularly when we could all just hang out at the bbq!!! And now we have more teams to face in the prelims and beyond!! Good stuff! LOL!!! Oh wow, thanks for the VA info! Yeah they honed in on what they needed to and used it to their advantage. Haha yeah I mean, they're high school boys, nuff said. :P HAHAHAHAH I was totally thinking it about the Jojo look on their faces and I didn't say anything cause I knew I'd get picked on for bringing up Jojo too much!! Poor Yachi, even her fear is adorable! OMG a Patreon bbq would be epic though! Thanks for the timeline info! I know his name but I always forget it in the moment, I think I get it confused with Tanaka and I'm afraid I'm gonna use them interchangeably :P Ooohhh I saw that about Andor! I won't be reacting to it but I'd like to watch it on my own time if I get the chance. It might be a while with my current at home situation and all the chaos lol.

I love how upbeat he is (well when he’s not in emo mode) 🤭 As fun as this episode was I hate thinking about the third years and how for many this’ll be their last time with us. I need a barbecue😭 🍗 🍖

2025-04-10 11:26:12 +0000 UTCBoy you really had a mosquito problem during Attack on Titan didn’t you 😂 Fun lookup on Tsukishima’s brother: this is clearly a more supporting role, but he’s Geto (JJK), Giyu (Water Hashira in Demon Slayer), Reigen (Mob Psycho) and Diablo (Slime). I believe the lesson being taught during the match with Fukurodani (Bokuto’s team), is that don’t ever think one player is all you have to deal with in order to win. Clearly this team recognized a potential crippling weakness and was able to turn it around into a strength. Look, we all know that if there’s one thing that’s going to get the attention of a lot of high school boys - it’s going to be a flock of high school girls. Some things never change. I… REALLY almost hate to bring this up because I know you too well… but when Tanaka’s crew went into defense mode around Kiyoko… didn’t their faces look rather JoJo-like? 😅 On that note, I swear even when Yachi is scared for her life she still looks completely adorable. Maybe though, she should ask for an escort so she doesn’t get trampled…? “Life is all about stuffing your face with good food…” Well, I’m gonna guess no one here’s gonna argue. When’s the in person patron barbecue then? (I kid I kid…) The Japanese school year begins in April. The narration said the preliminary rounds were starting, and it was August 11. So now they’ll need to qualify out of their own prefecture, but on the bright side they won’t have to play any of the Tokyo teams they were training against - they’re all from a different region. They’ll be in a preliminary round with teams they ran into last season, so they could have rematches - or they could be completely new opponents. It’s all about luck of the draw. They’re all getting ready too. By the way the advisor’s name is Takeda. PS: off topic, you brought up Star Wars content at the start of this batch. Andor’s coming back April 22, will you be diving in there as well? While I’m thinking about it.
