I mean, yeah, you could keep track, but who's going to argue if you break free and be like "I was banished for 20 million years!!"? No one but the person who banished you first, that's who. Everyone else would be long gone by then and any post-it notes left for others would only cause some kind of crazy cult or order to spring up around it and you KNOW that's only going to cause some VAGUE prophecy to occur and in no way be accurate to the last second.
