Haikyu! OAD "Lev Appears" - reaction & review
Added 2025-02-24 22:07:10 +0000 UTCHey everyone! I'm BACK with more Haikyu!!! I'm so excited to meet Lev!!! I've gotta say, I've got a lot of Lev energy myself! He's an adorable character and I think he's jumped up to the top of my ranking pretty quickly! He and Kenma learned a lot from each other - the Nekoma coach really knew what he was doing! Oh yeah, and our boys are in a LOT of trouble over that gaming console they broke!! :/ Can't wait for season 2! Enjoy! ~ MH

Oh ok, thanks for the info! Yeah, I remember how they always referred to them as the Garbage Dump for that reason lol. I agree that there was a good metaphor here both with Kenma and the video game side story lol. That's the thing, Lev doesn't really have the experience/understanding yet, they just have a similar vibe. LOL anyone who wants a video game reaction series from me is basically gonna get the Asahi experience :P Ooooohh I don't even wanna be within a mile of the scene when she finds out they broke it! I can't wait for the new character!!!

2025-02-25 12:28:08 +0000 UTCLev’s VA doesn’t contain any references that I can use for you, his resume isn’t terribly big. In other words, no previous shows you’ve reacted to. The whole side thing with the cat is a whole play off of the Battle at the Garbage Dump reference: remember, Karasuno is the Crow, and Nekoma is the cat. I’m unclear the precise logistics about the Spring Tournament they are referring to but they have different entry points because they’re in different prefectures. They wouldn’t run into each other until the tournament. The whole side story with Kenma and the game could be a metaphor for each of them learning the game of volleyball, you keep trying and then someone gives you one pointer and it suddenly all clicks. I wouldn’t compare Lev directly to Shoyo because Shoyo already had a decent grasp of the fundamentals of volleyball prior to the series, and Lev is still learning the basics. Well, unless you’re Asahi, not gonna lie, I can see why watching him play is entertaining! 😂 Oh, speaking of that… which one of you wants to tell Tanaka’s sister you broke her gaming pad? 👀 PS: There’s a new character coming in S2 I think you’re going to find extremely relatable. :)
