That's so true, I've loved following her arc! That's awesome about the way it works in the game. No kidding about the way the Scanlan/Kaylie thing went! LOL Grog!! Ooohhh yeah they might've wanted to grab that Vestige lol. It wasn't the fake one was it? Hahaha aww that is kinda too bad they left out that line, oh well!

2024-12-10 14:08:19 +0000 UTCHappy very belated Thanksgiving to you! LOL Buffy tried to warn me! That's a good point about how this is a reflection of Key'leth's feelings. LOL I mean there would def be downsides to having those powers! OMG the Grog joke was amazing! I'm glad Kaylie was finally honest about how she felt. I love the sibling bond with Vax and Vex!! OMG they really do have stormtrooper aim haha. Crazy about Raishan huh! Onto the next!

2024-12-07 10:46:25 +0000 UTCHappy Thanksgiving, reactor and commenters! Buffy barking her head off in the intro, translated: “Mom, you loaded last week’s episode!” I don’t actually follow the campaign like some other people do - unfortunately there’s never enough time to do everything you want to… but there are definitely some snippets I’d be curious to see from this season. I suppose, Keyleth powering up by transforming into a tree is one of the bigger changes. Just like Vex was hesitant to let herself be loved, Keyleth had similar feelings, and she was also kind of denying it herself, until the roots made her admit it. I guess the moral here is that part of what makes you who you are is the people you know. (I said something similar in the last Death Parade batch). Also got to ask, um…. you really want her powers of communication? Something tells me that’s an insurance claim waiting to happen. Not gonna lie, it would be pretty cool though. 🤣 I told you to try and remember where we left Grog - Pike ran out and said “don’t move!” As for Scanlan and Kaylie it’s the typical parent-child trope, feelings are usually complicated and while there’s usually blood ties, it’s always going to be hard to understand each other completely - so it’s a give and take. Kaylie didn’t want to admit her feelings, much like Keyleth, until the possibility existed he might never see her again. Changes a perspective. As for Vex and Vax, it’s a straight up action sequence, and their sibling bond is a lot more developed than some of the shops so you can see how well they work together when they’re in sync. I did have to ask, though are Ripley’s goons Stormtroopers? They were really bad shots. As for Raishan, we’ll now she’s possessing a dragon corpse. Scanlan staying in the cons might’ve been a better choice. As for the other matter, I’ll talk about it later.

2024-11-28 16:52:26 +0000 UTCEverything they do with Keyleth is so interesting, cause in the campaign her turning into different elementals is just something she got from leveling up. I like how they make it part of the narrative instead. And the ability she learned to search for people was actually a spell called Scrying in the game, which you can use to look for someone basically anywhere as long as they’re on the same Plane of existence. I do like what they did with Scanlan and Kaylie, but it was pretty different in the game. I’ll go way more into it the next episode. Also Grog literally staying right there was so freaking funny! 🤣 The twins killing Ripley was nice and all, but did they just leave her Vestige behind? That could’ve been great to have! Something that’s a little disappointing is that they didn’t include an iconic line from Keyleth to Raishan where she says “Call me child one more goddamn time!” But it all still sets up for a great finale.
