Added 2024-11-27 14:01:07 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 1 episode 16 of Dr. Stone!!! WOW!!!!! Omg, I absolutely LOVE Senku's dad! This one not only gave us ALL the background I was wondering about (minus a few things that my head is still swirling about), but it also made the whole going into space story from a few eps back even more sweet and wholesome! It actually makes so much sense that the six of them weren't even on earth and never even got affected by the stone-ificaition. This whole ep just really made me teary for some reason! Wow!!! I can also see so many similarities between some of this crew and some of our modern day village lol, no coincidence I'm sure! Can't wait for more! Enjoy! ~ MH

His dad is the BEST!!! It's amazing how similar their goals are! Yeah I feel like they were pushing pretty hard on the Kinro/Ginro vibes!! Right?! Like I love it more and more each week!!

Omg as soon as he said that, I knew Senku was absolutely watching! This was such a great story and did so much to develop everyone and their backgrounds. Yeah you were giving me all the hints! Lol I'll cook like Senku in his lab over here if I have to!

2024-12-05 13:54:10 +0000 UTCI'm sure tons of people have already mentioned this, but if you look closely at the people listening to Lillian singing (btw, in the English dub she shares the Voice Actress with Mina Ashido ^^) you can see Taiju and Tsukasa walking past each other and Yuzuriha listening in a café with her friends and the braids of another character that will become important later on ^^

Just imagine being one of the people on board and knowing you're one of the last to “survive.” I’m not sure if that's “lucky” for them but it is something wild to think about. I wonder if we’ll ever understand that anomaly that consumed the Earth. And it's crazy that Senki was already looking into it too. I really love his dad. I can definitely see where Senku got his vanity personality from. His dad's dream was his. And he was the one to say we're going to help everyone at the end here, like Senku. T.T I’m not sure how the survival method works but I definitely wouldn't be surprised if that blonde character was Ginro and Kinro’s ancestor. I'd be more shocked if he wasn't. What a crazy episode. The series just keeps astonishing me. I need more!! 🧑🚀 🚀

2024-12-01 16:09:46 +0000 UTCWell, you did manage to figure out part of the puzzle but you did it after the episode started so I think that’s half Credit because of the clues. :P Voice Actor Information: Byakuya (Senku’s dad): Leorio (Hunter x Hunter), Esidisi (JoJo Part 2), Hannes (AoT) Lillian (the singer): Miyako - Aqua and Ruby’s foster mom (Oshi No Ko), Luminous Valentine (Slime), Perla Pucci (JoJo Part 6) Yakov: Rigurd (Slime) Shamil: Otoishi Akira (Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan) As you can see Senku left no stone unturned in his attempt to solve everything - he even designed a torture suit for his dad to help him get to space. He even said “you’re probably not watching this” when he took off, but Senku does have feelings, he just doesn’t want you knowing he has them. So this goes a long way in explaining why there’s a decently diverse set of characters - the space station was an international group and had people from several different countries. The most obvious answer here is, the reason they weren’t petrified was because they weren’t on the surface. Notice I said last week it was a scientific fact that every human on the face of the earth got hit by the beam. Well, they weren’t on the face of the earth. I can’t really talk in full about this at this point, because the story isn’t completed. But keep cooking over there , it’s what any good scientific hypothesis is built on. After all, there’s more to Ruri’s tale. But that’ll have to wait for next week! 😎

But we made it past the tournament, DESPITE Ginro going full traitor on us. xD Not to mention that Gen finally got his Cola! T oT I'm not sure if the manga went more into detail how to make it, but you can make Senku Cola. It's probably not the best... but... Well, it's homemade cola. o: Now we'll get into the Story of Senku's Dad, who I'm sure you can already tell is one of the BEST anime dads out there. xD
