Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 1 episode 15 of Dr. Stone!!! OMG you guys, we had so much going on in this one! Ginro was being a sleaze, Senku got married and divorced, Ruri got cured only to kinda look like she wasn't at first (what a fakeout!!!) and the whole VILLAGE is named for Senku's family?! Ok, now I know his family has something to do with founding it!!! Can't wait for more! Enjoy! ~ MH

HAHAH what was I thinking!! Ginro went into total sleaze mode, and erm, that whole "target" thing did come to pass! Oof, I'm batting zero with ships!! Poor Ruri! Yeah I can see why Senku freaked out, from what I know about TB, not only would it be harder to cure but it spreads like crazy. I noticed they mentioned that the water thing was one of the few things keeping her going this long! Enjoy your cola!

LOL what a crazy minute that was while they were still married....never saw it coming that there would be a divorce so quickly!!! They really had me going with the antibiotic there for a minute! LOL I'm so happy you liked my reaction to THAT scene! You could really see the artist's resume coming through on that one :P I love the cola scene!! I def wanna give it a try!!!

Silly Ginro let himself get a little too carried away and became a prime example of a village chief no one ever wanted, so thank goodness Chrome threw in Suika's watermelon helmet to Senku so he could perform a beautiful nutcracker attack on Ginro with his weapon. XD The comedic moments kept coming as Senku became the village chief by default since Chrome was out for the count. So Senku was effectively married to Ruri................for the best part of a minute before he divorced her on the spot. Everyone's reactions to that was priceless! ^_^ Thankfully, Senku used this opportunity to get back to finishing up the sulfa drug and got Ruri to take it. For a time, it did look like Ruri was making a turn for the worse, but after making an autopsy of a dead rat, Senku confirmed that Ruri had the case of pneumonia, which the sulfa drug loves to destroy.The look on your face when Senko gave Ruri the medicine was really priceless. It really made me laugh a lot. That scene really made you realize that the author had drawn some rather erotic scenes before he started with Dr. Stone. Seeing Ruri being able to leave the village, pain-free, was brilliant and everyone was happy for her. Senku became the village chief properly this time as a result. However, he then finally learns the name of the village is Ishigami Village. That tale that will come next is definitely an interesting one! I also thought it was really sweet of Senku to make Gen his cola. I'm pretty sure that the recipe shown in the anime actually works. I've at least seen a few YouTube videos of people trying it out. I personally haven't tried it yet, but I might want to give it a go in the future.

There’s nothing left to get in their way!” Me: “Has anime taught you NOTHING?” Ginro went from crazy side character to full on sleazeball in this one - in fact he got so bad, I don’t know if you picked up on it - but everyone in the village, not just Senku’s crew was thinking “he can’t be the village chief.” I’d also like to point out that as discussed last week, someone did get targeted between the legs in order to take them out. One also might ask how many different functions can be found for Suika’s headpiece at this point. I’d also like to point out your track record with ships is… well it’s got Qrow’s Semblance lately, doesn’t it? I’m unfamiliar with what you were talking about with the artist tendencies but I do think I’m picking up what you’re putting down, FYI. Ruri now may have had the record for the shortest marriage ever, a fact she specifically pointed out to Chrome seconds after Senku divorced her. The reason Senku was freaked out was that tuberculosis was the one possibility he didn’t have an answer for. I’m not a medical expert, but my guess is that Ruri’s coughing fit after her first dose was her body reacting to the medicine after so long. It should also be noted that Kohaku’s “gesture” of dragging multiple barrels of hot spring water to her sister for years is what kept her alive long enough for Senku to get here - so in a way, she’s just as much of a hero as Senku is. She may not have known how to cure her sister but she did enough to keep her breathing. Of course, now that she’s well, she drops a bomb on him with the village name, but that’s for the next episode. Gen’s off enjoying a cola somewhere and has no idea what all this nonsense is about btw. 👀
