Hey everyone! Here it is, my review of Chapters 21 - 24 of Jojolion!! OMG you guys!!! Coming right off the nonsense with Joshu, now we have a whole big reveal to deal with....and it involves Johnny!!!! My emotions were all over the place with this one, from angry to sad to ultimately accepting. He really did whatever he had to do to protect the people he loved, just like Jonathan :( And now we're kicking off into a whole new disturbing arc, trust me when I say you're not ready lol! What a batch!! Enjoy!! ~ MH

2025-02-07 02:35:45 +0000 UTCNoooooooo! Really?! I for one can be THAT mad at it. I mean the qualities fine whatever but REALLY?!!! I haven’t been this mad and bothered since the beginning of part 4. I really thought we would have left it at that— I mean I half expected we get maybe get an eventual tidbit about Johnny but no, gone shortly after. I assumed this time around that the Higashikata’s were our ticket to continuing this storyline without really getting into the bloodline but now Idk. If he decided to do this with Johnny for something later down the road I guess I can understand but right now I’m fuming. 😤 If he just did this to wrap up Johnny’s story with a bow I am going to riot…. Or at least eat my feelings. 🙂↕️ It is so weird to look back at everything from the previous part and know his life ended shortly after. I’m hoping something with the current story justifies his death more in some way because that just ticks me off. But I’ll likely just have to take this with a grain of irritating sand. OMG HE FREAKING DIED!! 🙄 😖😫 The decision to do just irks me at this point with the whole series. I mean come on can we ever truly win? Just once a nice satisfying beginning to end? Granted part 6 everything worked out fine but I couldn’t celebrate Irene’s happy ending cuz I needed further explanation for its end. Part 4 was happy but come on, you know what I didn’t like, and part 7 we lost Gyro but I was thinking we made it to the other side unscathed— at least our Jojo did and I think his buddy would have loved that but no—dead. Although it was a noble one fit for the first Jonathan. I do have to say it was a good bold move to use the corpse like this in order for the lesson to sink in. Johnny and Jonathan shared similarities but always seemed a bit more different personality wise to be. But here I can they share that need to protect their family. Ugh I have to look on the bright side. I do love that he got more time to with his family, especially George. I would have liked more time to pass but he’s with Marco and Gyro. And it really strikes a chord seeing a version of Jonathan get that kind of time with his family….BUT WHY ARAKI!!!!! 🥺😩😤🫠😫 I can’t focus on anything else. The email was cute and the kid gives me the biggest creeps. I’m so tired at this point. I need to eat and rest because this took a lot out of me. Hopefully we got some turkey left. 🍴 🦃
