Added 2024-11-20 13:32:21 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to ep 11 of Kamen Rider Gavv!!! Oh dang guys, and here I thought we'd get to see Hanto's romantic side a bit more!!! It was pretty clear the whole thing was a Granute catfish though, but WOW was I not expecting the ending! So I guess that answers the question of how long they're gonna keep the charade going...!!! Hahaha makes sense to me! OMG you called it with this one! At this rate I'm totally expecting some Kira vibes! Sad but true, as uncomfortable as it makes these eps, probably a good thing to make sure kids are aware of! LOL yeah dark treats are a metaphor for not taking candy from strangers!!!

Buy one, get one free! o:< ...Or maybe just don't sell them at all. xD ...It has to be a death in the family, wouldn't it? Though I wouldn't be surprised if it took him getting cornered like Kira from Jojo to do it... Well... It's not a bad theme to beat someone over the head with. xD Especially with this day and age. I mean they do say not to accept candy from strangers... You don't know what dark treats they're handing out. o;

Yeah but what if there's a way to hide the mouth??? It wouldn't surprise me! Sushi is soooo good, whhaaaaattt!!! Preggos can't have it because of the raw fish. I'd highly recommend at least giving it a try! Yeah the more we learn about Granute society, the more it kinda sounds like there's some similarities to the not so great aspects of our own history. I feel like they emphasized the Sachika thing a little too much not to come back to it. It was cool of Shouma to be more focused on saving Emi than on the blatant insult lol. Oof, yeah, there's still gonna be some confusion surrounding this whole thing huh??

Yeah selling them off is bad enough, but separating them is just low! Makes sense about Lango right? Yeah I wonder what it would take to really upset him! He does feel like he's 10 steps ahead right? LOL that was a great expression! Oh yeah good call about the fireball, hmm! I mean I'm not sure why they're so hung up on this predatory theme so far lol??? Maybe the whole concept of a candy-themed Rider just invites the idea of someone trying to lure people in or something? Idk! Oh yeah I could see how that's similar to Kuuga!!!! Can't wait to see what happens next!

Couldn't agree more about the raise lol. Yeah I'm not sure what the response was, but you're right, it seems like it was emphasized for a reason! Oooohhh that is an interesting theory, wow! Hahahaha I just know there's slash fanfics for them out there! But yeah, now the truth is out! Oooh I hadn't heard about the Sentai ep! Seems like there was a running theme there!

2024-11-22 09:56:00 +0000 UTCA technical suggestion for you since I know we pull our source material from the same spot (since you told me where to look 😉) - after seeing the translations being used on this episode it seems like whoever’s doing this isn’t fully translating the concepts behind the dialogue, so I would recommend using GeoSubs - their translations seem to be filling in a lot of gaps that this one missed. Cases in point: Shouma actually overhears them talking in detail about their doubts about Niwa, and the older sister wants to investigate, which is why he pulls out the card and shows it to them. When Hana is about to block Niwa, she actually said she was going to break up through text with him for Emi - then Hanto asks her to string him along. Lango promises the Granute a whole supply of Dark Treats if he doesn’t lose Emi. The jist of all this was indeed on the version you watched but it felt like the translations were just giving you the bare bones of the conversation, which is why I’m suggesting this. :) You were referring to Suga prior to the episode - first off we know Suga can’t be Nyelv - Hanto looked a he did not have a stomach mouth on his abdomen. Also we don’t know if Suga is working for anyone - we just know he’s got somebody gathering intel for him on Granutes and Kamen Riders. You haven’t had sushi in a while? Well, I’ve never tried it so we’re both at fault. I do feel like I’d be kinda like Shouma in a sushi restaurant (what am I supposed to do here…?) I think most of us weren’t buying the whole Hanto is a romantic thing at the start (speaking if translations it was so much more over the top in the version I watched that Shouma and Sachika were just beside themselves, it was hilarious. 😂) Shita and Jeebh failed at their own deadline so Lango is now in charge of “product quality,” for lack of a better term. Apparently there’s a Granute society ladder as well? Seems like the twins are between a rock and a hard place. It also took me a decent amount of time to realize that they are in fact a brother and sister, not sane gender. They look and sound too much alike. Either way they don’t seem to be too happy. It seems Emi is one of those people who will believe anything because she’s head over heels and it’s everyone else trying to get her head on straight. Love makes you do strange things I guess, but intelligence and emotion rarely see eye to eye. Lango seems to be studying Gavv for some purpose but what is it? Just sizing him up or are we missing something? Also Sachika was staring right at him - wonder if he noticed her? This is going to come back later isn’t it…. 👀 I should point out when Emi got restored, what Shouma said to her in KR form was more “I know you’re scared and think I’m a monster - no time to explain, but please whatever you do, run away from me in THAT direction!” So Shouma knows Hanto’s secret now? Wait, does that mean he thinks Hanto’s still a modified Granute? This is going to get more complicated before it gets better isn’t it? 👀

Like in previous episodes when the girl is triggered as Hanto speak to them, and now telling us to beware of someone on internet who trying to flirt you. Quite excellent! Well, it's quite a shame that Sushi doesn't counted as snacks, so there will be no Sushi Gochizo. Come to think of it, I planned to make my character base form based on grilled catfish. I just don't see how can I put that grilled catfish into the driver. Fun Fact: During the scene where Lango walked among the crowd, the extra casts are seems not knowing at all that they are filming Kamen Rider. So that's quite real.

2024-11-20 16:41:31 +0000 UTCHi Hime :) You remember with last week's double episode, I mentioned "what if the granute had the appearance of a child", but I told myself that it was maybe a little twisted... Thanks Toei for confirming that I can be twisted in my theories lol. I also saw a comment that I think is worth quoting, saying that it's funny that the granute has a crocodile appearance and is called Niwa, since Wani is the Japanese translation of crocodile. Sachika always has the right outfit (seriously, the person in charge of her costumes deserves a raise), but the question I have is, what was that part when she sees Lango? Does she just have goosebumps or is there something else, does she have a special sensitivity to granutes or just those of the Stomach family? It was too dramatic for it to be trivial. I saw an interesting theory about this, what if Sachika's family was descended from granutes? If it was a Granute family that had migrated to earth and that by mixing with humans, had lost their gavv, but still had the internal biology of the granutes. We'll see. In any case, the hide and seek between Shoma and Hanto is over, now they can become a couple... oops, I mean collaborate. No but it doesn't help either that Shoma's reaction when Hanto says he wants to go to Niwa's date, he asks if Hanto wants to go out with Niwa. Between this episode and that of Boonboomger (the current super sentai), two very gay episodes lol.

I feel like Hanto's one of those people that would just straight up use their name as their online handle. xD I *wish* that was Hanto though. ...Hmmm... I have a theory about the twins, but I can't really get into it until next episode. ToT But selling off the twins separately? Nah, nah, you HAVE to sell them in a set. Yeah, I had a feeling that Lango's Minions were going to be the strongest... I mean that much was probably obvious enough, but those guys don't really mess around at all. Good thing Hanto was around to catch the Granute, but DAMN... If Gavv was still alone, that would've been one human lost. ...Lango's been pretty Nonchalant... I wonder what it takes to get a real rise out of him. It really does feel like he's running this like a business, but I wonder what's got him so stress free. Like he's DYING to get Dark Treats legalized so they didn't have to sneak around with them anymore, we got the Twins getting so, so, SO behind on their quota, and we got Shouma gaining to the strength to fight and has already been known to kill part-timers and disrupt their "spice" gathering... Something that the twins kept a secret from him. ...Yet he's just like: "...Okay, well, you're just going to get sold off then." "...Well, I guess I'll take a look at what Shouma's been up to." ...I feel like a man in his position would be FUMING more, but he's acting like he's got some ace in the hole already. Or is he just that confident in his own power? We shall see. ...Also Lango's expression at 23:34 ....I just find it hilarious. xD ...Also, huh. The episode preview showed Valen's de-henshin, but I would've thought that the Granute would've put him in one of those crocodile death rolls or something... Not shoot a fireball at him. xD ...Yeah, this whole season is going to be different flavors of "Stranger Danger", isn't it? D: We even touched a little bit on the whole: "Gangs using Kids to lower victim's guards" thing. ; m; I'm getting Kuuga vibes of the ending, I just love how they just let Shouma sit there in his own shock.
